Backup/Restore your website in DotNetPanel

Small Business Hosting customers use the feature rich DotNetPanel to manage their own accounts. This guide will take you through the steps of creating a new email account on the DotNetPanel. Read our additonal guides to understand how to use this email account with your email software.

 


1.    The first step is to log into the DotNetPanel. Visit https://cp.itcinternet.net/ using your web browser- whether that is Internet Explorer of Firefox.
2.    Type in your login information you were provided by your welcome email. Your username will generally be your domain. If you forgot your password you can use our “Forgot your password” link on the front page.

3.    Once logged in you will greeted by our Account Home page. On the far right of the page will be two options- backup and restore. Click Backup.

4.    On the next page edit the information as required. Make sure that your Backup File Name is easy to understand. Always include the date when the backup is being made. You can also choose where to copy the backup to, and the located of the backup Folder.

5.    Once you have completed this click Backup. A screen like the one below will pop up.

6.    Once this is complete click close. To restore your backup, go back to the Account Home page and click Restore. By clicking on File you will be presented by a drop down menu (as shown below). Using the small shapes next to the folder names, navigate to the folder where you backup resides.

7.    Select the backup and click Restore.
